Cabins in the Woods

Two recreational cottages sit within the historically protected landscape of Svätý Jur, drawing on the traditional Renaissance vineyard houses characteristic of the region.

The design follows the monument authority’s requirements on roof colour, building height, roof shape and slope. Each cabin holds a basement, one above-ground floor and a residential attic, extending at the rear into garden terraces and wood storage.

The southern façade is glazed along its entire length for the closest possible connection between inside and out — opening the rooms to views of the town and the plains beyond.
