The design answers both the client’s wishes and the binding rules of this heritage-protected area, taking inspiration from the traditional Renaissance vineyard houses of the town while working in modern materials and a contemporary language.

Two shifted rectangles form the ground plan beneath a gable roof with an inhabited attic — classic geometric shapes, a simple composition of masses, and façades that pair rural window proportions with generous glazing in the living spaces.

Material contrasts give the house its character: exposed concrete at the garage, a wooden truss, white plaster. Inside, social rooms are kept clearly apart from private ones, with several rooms opening directly onto the terrace.
